Add Google Domain to Google Sites as custom URL
This tutorial shows step by step guide to add Google domain as a custom URL for a Google site.

Steps:

1. Go to your Google site editing page and from options choose custom URL.

2. Write the domain (Ex: ‘www.yourdomainname.com’) and click Assign. (You may have to verify your domain in webmasters).

3. Go to Domain Management page on domains.google and click on DNS.

4. Scroll down to synthetic records, in subdomain write @ and in destination URL write www.yourdomainname.com. Click add.

5. Scroll down further to Custom Resource Records, replace @ with www. Next select CNAME from the drop-down menu and Then in the IPv4 address section write ghs.googlehosted.com .
